我使用的版本是 v5.2.5。
我使用的版本是 v1.0.52,目前最新版本 v1.0.55。

The first three articles discussed Tencent WorkBuddy, Alibaba QoderWork CN, and Baidu DuMate (invite code: 3V3JPSD) respectively. Today, I will wrap up the series with a horizontal comparison.
I have personally used all three tools, so this is a hands-on review rather than a theoretical analysis. I will compare them based on origin, model support, pricing, capabilities, and strengths. Finally, I will share my own choice.
Origins of the Three Tools
All three are "desktop AI assistants" that run locally on your machine, capable of reading files, performing tasks, and delivering finished products. The difference lies in their developers and underlying technologies.
WorkBuddy, developed by Tencent, shares the same technical foundation as CodeBuddy, making it inherently skilled in writing code. As of July 1, 2026, the personal version has been upgraded to a three-tier system: Standard, Advanced, and Flagship. I am using version v5.2.5.
QoderWork CN (henceforth QoderWork), developed by Alibaba, is part of the Qoder CN suite, sharing points with IDE plugins and CLI tools. It adopted a unified Credits payment system in May 2026. I used version 0.6.7, with the current latest being 0.9.11.
DuMate, developed by Baidu, is marketed as "the real worker." It officially started charging in April 2026, with the current personal experience version offering free access to all features. I used version v1.0.52, with the latest update being v1.0.55.
Model Selection
This is a key differentiator among the three.
WorkBuddy offers the highest flexibility. It includes built-in cloud models for immediate use, with "auto" scheduling as the default. Users can also add custom models or connect to local ones. For example, I connected it to a local model using llama.cpp, ensuring data privacy. This is a unique advantage for those concerned about privacy or cost savings.
QoderWork supports multiple built-in models with an "auto" scheduler, allowing users to manually select the model if desired.
DuMate exclusively uses Baidu's Wenxin model, with no option to switch models or adjust settings. While this makes it more user-friendly for novices, it lacks the customization options of the others.
In terms of model flexibility: WorkBuddy > QoderWork > DuMate.
All three follow a "free trial + paid subscription" model, but the details vary.
Trial: Free, 500 points/month
Standard: 99 CNY/month (672 CNY/year), temporarily granting 4,000 points/month
Advanced: 199 CNY/month, temporarily granting 9,000 points/month
Flagship: 999 CNY/month, temporarily granting 50,000 points/month
Enterprise: Starting from 198 CNY/person/month
Trial: Free, 300 points + 2-week Pro trial
Professional: 59 CNY/month, 2,000 points/month
Advanced: 169 CNY/month, 6,000 points/month
Flagship: 559 CNY/month, 20,000 points/month
Enterprise: Starting from 99 CNY/seat/month
Trial: Free, 1,000 points per login, full feature access In summary, while all three cost money, their pricing models and point distributions differ, offering various options for different user budgets.
Pro version: 9.9 yuan for the first month, 59 yuan/month thereafter, 25,000 points/month
Max version: 69 yuan for the first month, 129 yuan/month thereafter, 100,000 points/month
Incremental package: 10 yuan/5,000 points
In terms of free quota, DuMate is the most generous with 1,000 points per day, which is essentially inexhaustible for light use. The trial versions of WorkBuddy and QoderWork have fewer points, suitable for testing the waters first.
Regarding paid prices, QoderWork's professional version is 59 yuan for 2,000 points, while DuMate's Pro version is also 59 yuan for 25,000 points, which looks like a much better deal. However, the point deduction logic differs between the two, so the numbers cannot be directly compared. WorkBuddy's standard version is more expensive at 99 yuan, but with the time-limited bonus, the actual total is 4,000 points, and it can connect to local models, allowing for saving on cloud points and running locally at will.
The price comparison above only looks at the “nominal number of points” and does not measure the actual consumption rate of each platform.
For the same task, the points consumed by each platform can vary significantly, depending on their model call efficiency and task breakdown granularity.
I use the free versions, and with light use, the points have never run out, so I have no real data on this dimension.
If you are considering paying, it is advisable to first observe how many points different platforms deduct for similar tasks, as this is more important than the absolute number of points.
Common Capabilities
After discussing the differences, let’s talk about what the three platforms can do together. They are all “AI assistants,” so their basic skills are aligned:
File Reading and Modification: After authorizing the folder, they can all read, create, and edit documents.
Code Writing and Image Creation: You can describe requirements, and they will automatically generate images and write code.
Office Document Generation: Weekly reports, meeting minutes, research reports — describe the demand, and the document is produced instantly, supporting Word, Excel, and PPT.
Data Analysis: Drop an Excel sheet in, and it will automatically clean the data, analyze it, create charts, and provide conclusions.
Local Execution: All run on your local machine, and they only process the content within the authorized folder, keeping data secure.
Skill Extension: They all have a “skill market” or “skill plaza,” where you can install what you need and even encapsulate your own workflows.
Task Visualization: The execution process is visible with progress tracking, ensuring transparency.
In summary: These are not chatbot AIs, but worker AIs that deliver results, not just suggestions.
Individual Strengths
While they share basic skills, each has its own “special powers.”
WorkBuddy is better at:
Writing Code: It shares the same lineage as CodeBuddy and has a built-in code development mode, which is unmatched by the others.
Connecting to Local Models: This allows for no data leakage and cost control, offering a unique advantage.
Office Miscellaneous Tasks: It handles weekly reports, PPT slides, reconciliation statements, and supplier letters efficiently and in batches.
Connecting to WeCom: You can assign tasks to your computer from your mobile phone and review the results later.
QoderWork is better at:
Built-in Browser: It can surf the web, search for information, scrape data, and fill out forms independently, saving you the hassle of switching windows.
Strong Image Output: It can read article content, understand themes, and directly generate matching cover images, infographics, or posters. Many consider it the best solution for the pain points of公众号 (public account) image selection, though I haven’t tested it as the current options suffice for me.
Ready-to-Use Output: It delivers high-quality Word, Excel, PPT, and PDF files ready for submission.
DuMate is better at:
File Organization: Instantly turn messy folders into an organized knowledge base, with auto-categorization, duplicate cleaning, batch format conversion, and key info extraction. Essential for traders receiving daily quotes, contracts, and packing slips.
Data Analysis: Automatic cleansing, outlier detection, cross-table correlation, deep digging, and visualization reporting.
Scheduled Tasks: Set up automated data aggregation and report sending at any time.
Security Certification: Passed dual certifications from the China Information and Communication Institute, attaining the highest 4+ level rating among domestic products.
Localization: Deep integration with the full suite of Baidu products like Baidu Search, Xiaodu, and Baidu Drive.
What I Use Them For
Actions speak louder than words. I use all three, each with a clear role:
WorkBuddy: Writing public articles, coding, and miscellaneous tasks (like file organization). This is my main workhorse, used daily.
QoderWork: Coding. I use it as a backup when WorkBuddy is busy or for specific browser automation needs.
DuMate: Writing novels and organizing files. It recently helped me restructure an abandoned novel plot, adding character and timeline clarifications, and even inserting illustrations. Its file organization is excellent.
All three support connecting to IM (instant messaging). WorkBuddy links to WeChat Work and QQ, QoderWork to Feishu and DingTalk, and DuMate to Feishu, DingTalk, and Ctrip.
However, I don't use IM for messaging, so I haven't tested this feature. While it may be useful for others, it is irrelevant to me, especially since I carry a Windows machine with me, making remote task delegation unnecessary.
The moment of truth.
Conclusion: As an adult, I choose to have all of them.
This isn't compromise. Each one has unique strengths, and the free trial versions are cost-free. Why not install all three and switch depending on the task?
But if forced to choose one, I would select WorkBuddy. Reasons:
First of all, I am a heavy user of IMA, and WorkBuddy comes from the same family as IMA, making it more reliable than other plugins or MCP connections — although this could be purely psychological.
Second, I develop on WeChat Work, and WorkBuddy's direct integration with it is a natural advantage.
Third, it supports local models. This ensures data privacy and cost control, which is critical for me.
If I could add a second, it would be DuMate. Its file organization and data analysis perfectly complement my workflow.
QoderWork is excellent for browser automation and image generation, but since my primary needs (coding + office tasks) are covered by WorkBuddy, and I don't use DingTalk, it ranks third.
Three assistants, three major companies, one field, each with its own personality.
There is no "best," only the most suitable, and personal preferences for different companies. Since the free versions are available, it makes sense to try them all and see which fits best.
Humans think; assistants act. That's the way it should be.
