The biggest debate wasn't whether humanoid robots are getting smarter. It was whether the industry is moving faster than the business reality behind it. Over the past week, we've seen headlines ranging from record-breaking robot performances to a humanoid robot crashing into a judges' table during competition. The internet loved both. And maybe that's the point. Every breakthrough industry goes through a stage where technology gets more attention than business fundamentals. AI did. Electric vehicles did. The internet did. Humanoid robotics is no different. As discussions continue around embodied AI, I'm less interested in whether the technology is overhyped or underestimated. I'm more interested in whether great technology can become a great business. Recently, I had the opportunity to learn more about AI² Robotics EngineAI LimX Dynamics AgileX Robotics LEJU ROBOTICS Astribot DexForce AI Booster Robotics LINKERBOT Galbot and their ambitions in this space. What impressed me wasn't just the technology. It was the recognition that growth requires more than innovation. It requires customers, ecosystems, talent, and the ability to scale. Because in the end, the winning robot company may not be the one with the most viral demo. It may be the one that turns engineering breakthroughs into repeatable customer value. History suggests that technology creates excitement. Business creates industries. The robotics winners will probably need both! #WorldRobotConference #Robotics #HumanoidRobots #EmbodiedAI #AI #FutureOfWork #Innovation #GoGlobal public_profile__posts 36 3 Comments Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Report this post Jeff Zhang Jeff Zhang 1mo Report this post Jeff Zhang shared this ✨Thank you for the invitation from ePaper Industry Alliance I shared insights on how LinkedIn empowers Chinese enterprises in the e-paper sector to go global 📟 🤝 It was a great pleasure to have in-depth exchanges with Fang Jijun , founder of Geniatech and Joy Wang , CMO of Hanshow We discussed three core pillars for Chinese companies’ global expansion: 🔹 Technological trust 🔹 Brand trust 🔹 Talent trust The thought-provoking discussions were incredibly rewarding 💡 A big shoutout to all the practitioners committed to the industry and ESG values 👍 Looking forward to seeing China’s e-paper industry thrive on the global stage 🚀 Wei Wen Esme Liumei Marcus Lyu public_profile__posts 29 1 Comment Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Report this post Jeff Zhang Jeff Zhang 1mo Report this post Jeff Zhang shared this Thanks Nancy Wang for giving me this great opportunity and grateful for the warm invitation from Thai Catherine and Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (SingCham) 中国新加坡商会 for the 61st National Day Dinner. It’s about becoming part of it. For Chinese companies expanding overseas, finding talent may be the first step. But how do you find the right talent in an unfamiliar market? How do you build a team that truly understands the local landscape? And how can talent become a strategic driver of long-term business growth? These are questions our 领英人才解决方案 team hears every day in conversations with business and HR leaders. We invited 10 of our frontline colleagues to reflect on what they’ve learned from working closely with Chinese companies on their global journeys. Their perspectives challenged some familiar assumptions: 🌏 Going global isn’t simply about entering a market. It’s about learning how to become part of it. 👥 Talent isn’t just an HR priority. It’s a business priority. 💡 And sometimes, the most valuable thing we can do isn’t to offer an answer right away. It’s to first understand the real challenge behind the question. 10 colleagues. 10 perspectives. And a conversation about talent, global expansion, trust and growth. A big shout-out to Nancy Wang and the team for putting these real conversations and reflections at the center of how we support Chinese companies going global. Young talent brings the curiosity, learning agility, and cross-cultural perspectives needed to drive future innovation. 🌍 China's global expansion is increasingly capability-led.Entering a market may be driven by products, cost, or speed. I believe that the corporate governance reforms led by the Financial Services Agency and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry over the past decade have fundamentally contributed to this positive trend. Various reforms have been implemented, such as strengthening the oversight functions of boards of directors and auditors, increasing the number of outside directors, and ensuring proper disclosure of management information. Among these, the growing proportion of stock-based compensation as an incentive for executives has been a major driver of change. If this approach can be expanded to include employees more broadly, it could create a positive feedback cycle: Everyone works harder → Companies become more competitive and stronger → Stock prices up → Greater economic prosperity.
